Founded by Patrice Malloy in 1998, the Malloy Marketing Group (MMG) is a communications consultancy specializing in the promotion of exciting events, destinations, products and services. Based in North San Diego County, MMG is comprised of a talented group of freelance professionals who provide their specialized service on a as-needed basis. We are passionate about creating and delivering on-target, well-branded marketing, public relations and social media campaigns that not only raise awareness for our clients but inspire and motivate target consumers and businesses to act.

About Patrice Malloy

IMG_0224_Pm2Patrice is one of the few communications professionals who has hands-on experience and a sold professional background in both marketing/advertising and public relations. A graduate of Purdue’s Krannert School of Management, Patrice’s marketing and public relations experience spans over 25 years and includes managing high-profile tourism and retail accounts at advertising agencies in the Mid-Atlantic region and heading up the marketing/PR departments for the Baltimore Zoo and Maryland Mass Transit Administration.

After migrating to the San Diego area in 1998, Patrice combined her professional skills with her passion for endurance sports, travel and events, cutting her teeth at the inaugural Rock n Roll Marathon in San Diego (1998)  and later managing the inaugural Virginia Beach Rock n Roll Half Marathon – the largest inaugural half marathon in history (15,000 runners) and described in Runner’s World as “one of the most successful launches of any road race in history.” Since then, Patrice has promoted and raced events around the globe and has finished a half-marathon on all seven continents.

Patrice’s PR expertise has resulted in local, regional, national and international media coverage for her clients including: CNN, ABC, Runner’s World, Wall Street Journal, ESPN and more. Her photography has been published in Runner’s World, Running Times, Wall Street Journal among others.
