Patrice’s expertise in event marketing was instrumental in the phenomenal success of the inaugural Virginia Beach Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon where she served as a contract event manager for Elite Racing, Inc., now known as the Competitor Group.  Described by Runner’s World magazine as “one of the most successful launches of any road race in history,” the event sold out months in advance with 15,000 participants and was the largest inaugural half marathon in the history of the sport.
